Datasoft arranged ‘Chittagong Custom House Automation Project; A walkthrough and Cookbook Presentation’ on the occasion of BASIS SoftExpo-2009, the annual mega exposition of software and IT Enabled Services (ITES) sector of Bangladesh. Lt. Col. Muhammad Faruk Khan, PSC (Rtd), Minister, Ministry of Commerce, was the chief guest and M.A. Latif, MP, President CCCI, Muhammad Abdul Mazid, Chairman, National Board of Revenue and Habibullah N Karim, President, BASIS were the special guests in the seminar held on January 30, 2009 in BCFCC.
They talked about the success story of the automation project and also gave importance to find out the way to automate the other government sectors of Bangladesh. DataSoft has also automated the Dhaka Custom House and it is going to be inaugurated by this month. Mahboob Zaman, DataSoft Managing Director, M Manjur Mahmud, DataSoft COO, Md. Shah Alam Khan, Commissioner, Chittagong Custom House and many other guests were present in the seminar. Brigadier General Hasan Nasir, PSC, NDC was the key presenter. |
