Web based Progress Monitoring System has developed for Public Works Department (PWD)

Public Works Department (PWD), under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, is the pioneer in construction arena of Bangladesh. Over about two centuries, PWD could successfully set the trend and standard in the country's infrastructure development. It plays a pivotal role in the implementation of government construction projects. On August 21, 2008 PWD started its official website named URL: http://www.pwd.gov.bd. In the official website of PWD the stakeholders can have easy access about the ongoing ICT works in PWD such as:

Every year PWD spends a large amount of Government money in different development sector, and it is very difficult to trace those expenditure at diverse intervals, and also it is difficult to find and submit any document when required.
