The Inaugural Ceremony of Trade License Automation at Rangpur Municipality was held at November 14, 2009 on Municipality Premises at 9:30 AM. The Former President & Member of Parliament H.M. Ershad was inaugurated the ceremony by clicking on print button and he delivered the first automated trade license to one business enterprise in the program. He also handed over the Basic Computer Training certificates organized by DataSoft to Rangpur Municipality personnel. Also, he handed over the appreciation certificate from Rangpur Municipality to DataSoft & Katalyst for their generous contribution at Rangpur Municipality for automating trade license delivery process.
Mr. Manjur Mahmud, Director & COO of DataSoft, received the Appreciation Certificate from DataSoft. In his speech, Mr. Manjur conveys gratitude to Chief Guest for his support and inaugurating the ceremony. He focused about the need of automation in Rangpur region and how it will help the implementation of Digital Bangladesh.
DataSoft was awarded the project through a very competitive process. DataSoft has successfully completed the project within due date. This project will now continue under support and maintenance contract till 31st August, 2010.
